150th Anniversary Celebration
Celebrate with Us!
In this exciting time of piecing together Trinity’s 150 years of history, many hours of work have already begun in preparation of celebrating our beautiful church and school. Trinity will begin its year long of celebratory events on January 12, 2025 based around the anniversary theme, “Remembering Our Past, Serving Our Present, Celebrating Our Future” and Bible Scripture, Psalm 100:5 “For the Lord is good and His love endures forever, His faithfulness continues through all Generations”.
The Anniversary Celebration Committee is comprised of seven subcommittees, Alumni Dinner and Reunion, Anniversary Worship Services, Memorabilia Store, Pictorial Directory, Publicity and Photography, Anniversary Banner, and the History Book. We would like to share with you some of the details of what we have planned for the 150th Anniversary Celebration. Check back often as additional information will be added as time draws near! If you have any questions please contact us at anniversarycommittee@trinitylutheranalma.net.

It goes without saying that the men and women who worked diligently on the history book presented for our 125th Anniversary laid the foundation for what is being presented in the 150th Anniversary History Book. Members of this committee have spent an untold amount of time sorting through numerous boxes of files, photographs, and minutes stored in the vault. Contained within these boxes is nearly 150 years of church history dating back as far as 1875. There have been many awe inspiring moments sorting through the past and it is our hope to share those moments in the pages of our history book currently being compiled. With the donation of archiving materials the committee was able to archive these photos and documents to ensure their safety for many generations to come.
New to this edition of our history book are many new photos, additional historical information and facts, and five new chapters. The new chapters consist of the Pictorial Directory, Honoring our Veterans, the history of our daughter church, St. Peter’s (Flora), and the history and diagrams of both Trinity and St. Peter’s Cemeteries and the Early Childhood Center.
We are excited to share this edition of our church and school history and hope you will enjoy the book as much as the committee has enjoyed piecing it together. Pre order sales will begin on February 2, 2025, however, the book will not be available for pickup until the Alumni Reunion and Dinner Event on Sunday, August 24, 2025. In the event you were unable to pre order a book, additional books will be available for sale the day of the dinner and may also be ordered online through the end of December 2025. To order online please click the link to our memorabilia page.
